I stand behind my message from Thursday morning. My message was simply this: We need to be careful with our response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. We don't want to broadcast a message that might inspire the crazies on our side to commit violence, too. What happened next was a denial of the existence of anybody on our side that would act out in a deadly or dangerous way. In short, we have no conservative crazy people.
